DYLAN ORTELEE

I'm Dylan Ortelee, born in 2004, and a dedicated filmmaker specializing in camera work. My passion for filmmaking began with creating stop-motion videos as a child, which introduced me to the world of visual storytelling. Over the years, I have developed a strong focus on working behind the camera, where I truly thrive.

Currently, I’m pursuing my career as a First Assistant Camera (AC), building on my experience as a Second AC. I have a deep passion for the technical precision required in camera work, from lens choices to focus pulling, ensuring every shot is executed flawlessly.

With a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, I play a key role in supporting the camera department to achieve their creative vision. My experience on set has taught me the importance of teamwork, adaptability, and precision, all of which I bring to every project.

I’m passionate about honing my skills as an AC and look forward to contributing to high-quality productions. My love for the craft and my drive to perfect my expertise ensure that I’m always seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow within the camera department.
